Let me tell you a story about this project.

When I was a child, my dad had a camera, whit wich he could only take 24 pictures each time. He spent a lot of money, because he used to love to take pictures. I still have many of those pictures at home, because I don't have him anymore.
​
When I see those pictures, I think about how special that moment was for him and how much it has changed the way we take pictures.
​
Many of us take pictures with the smartphone everyday. Because it's easy, because we can take MANY pictures and it doesn't cost anything!
We don't just take pictures, we get a lot of pictures!
​
All those pictures we don't really want hide our wonderful moments until we forget many them...
To avoid that we created PicDesk!
For all those who have too many pictures on their smartphones and would like to have more order and in their picture gallery, PicDesk is a game-app that helps the user to delete pictures intuitively & quickly.
​
To create PicDesk we interviewed some people who usually take pictures with their smartphones.
From those interviews we extracted the central elements that make PicDesk unique:
Ritual creator
Because each person is unique and has a particular way to delete their photos, with PicDesk you can create your own ritual.
Gamification
Because we want removing photos to be a positive and fun experience.
Desktop metaphor
Because a tidy picture gallery feels like having a clean desktop. Like a new start.
